Teenagers and young people are staying in the family home for longer than ever before, according to recent research by Aviva which discovered that the number of 21-34 year olds living with parents has increased by 32% over the last decade. Countryside has catered for the changing way in which people live today at its Novo development at Great Kneighton, Cambridge.

The flexible four double bedroom Castello home has been designed with modern families in mind. Light and spacious living accommodation is spread over three storeys, comprising three terraces, a huge open plan living space, a separate TV den/playroom and four double en suite bedrooms.

David Everett, Managing Director of Countryside’s New Homes & Communities Central Division, comments: “The Castello is the perfect house for a family with different generations living under one roof. The ground floor, with its en suite bedroom and separate retreat is ideal for a teenager or even a grandparent who would like independence and privacy, while three private outdoor terraces provide space for everyone to enjoy some peace and quiet. The luxury of four double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, is one way of keeping the peace in the mornings!”

The ground floor of the Castello offers a double garage, a spacious bedroom with en suite and an additional room which would make the ideal home office, child’s bedroom or teenager’s TV den. The expansive open plan kitchen, living and dining area on the first floor is the heart of the home, with a beautiful contemporary kitchen fitted with gloss white handle-less units and composite stone worktops, as well as a full range of integrated appliances.

Within the open plan space is a family sized dining area and a large living area with plenty of room for everyone to sit together, opening onto a spacious private terrace. A second en suite bedroom is located on this floor. The second storey is home to two further large double bedrooms, each with a private en suite bathroom and its own private terrace.

Every bathrooms is fitted with stylish white sanitary ware complemented by chrome accessories and cream tiles to the floor and walls. Amtico wood effect vinyl flooring runs through the main living areas, with luxurious carpet to the bedrooms.
