Renault Magnum is concrete choice for Scothorne & Sons

Cold store and cold room flooring specialists, GE Scothorne & Sons (Contracts) Ltd., has taken delivery of a new 4x2 Renault Magnum 460.18, through Renault Trucks distributor JDS Trucks Leeds.

The high spec truck has been fitted with a large toolbox at the front and a crane on the back. It will be used to transport large plant and heavy tools in order to lay and repair specialist concrete floors for major supermarket chains and frozen food brands.

Tim Scothorne, Director, GE Scothorne & Sons (Contracts) Ltd., says: “We have a Renault Premium 210 and have been very pleased with its performance over the last eight years. When we decided we needed a new truck with more space and the capability to carry our heavy equipment for the laying of concrete floors, the Renault Magnum was the obvious choice. It’s a robust, solid truck with plenty of cab space, it’s reliable and really looks the part. The vehicle is equipped with a reversing camera, twin Magnum horns and specialist one-off light bars.”
