Mr Plant Hire has high hopes for new Renault Premium Specialist hire company, Mr. Plant Hire, has taken delivery of a new Renault Premium 370.26, with Optidriver+ gearbox, through Renault Trucks Essex. The truck is Euro 5 compliant and has a Reduced Pollution Certificate. It will be used for the delivery and collection of all types of powered access equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts. The new Premium is only the second Renault to join Mr. Plant Hire’s 226-strong fleet which currently includes Isuzu, Vauxhall and Iveco.

The Renault Premium, which is on a service contract with Renault Trucks Essex, will operate within London and the Home Counties. Tony Crawford, Depot Manager, Mr. Plant Hire says: “We bought a Renault Premium 340 a while back and have been very happy with its performance which is why we decided to order our second Renault. The Renault Premium is very flexible in that it is suitable for the transportation of our powered access equipment, as well as larger plant, such as diggers and dumpers if required. We are also pleased with the service received from Renault Trucks Essex and feel confident in having the after sales back-up of its service contract.”

Based in Enfield, London, Mr. Plant Hire plc was founded in 1981. Its fleet of powered access equipment includes scissor lifts, boom lifts, personnel lifts, trailer mounted access platforms, self-propelled access platforms, large workspace platforms, solid wheeled units and rough terrain units with working heights up to 24m (79ft) and platform capacities of up to 1000 lbs (454kg). Mr. Plant Hire also supplies hire equipment for mechanical and electrical construction; plant and tools; heating and cooling equipment as well as equipment for gardening, cleaning, decorating; lighting towers and generators. The company is a full member of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and can supply Powered Access Training courses.
