HMRC celebrates a new arrival - the child trust fund podcast

Parents, guardians and mums and dads-to be, can find out everything they need to know about the Child Trust Fund (CTF) in a new HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) podcast launched today.

The five-minute podcast is packed with useful advice on the CTF - the children's savings and investment account which the Government kicks-off with a £250 voucher.

The podcast discusses what new parents need to do when they receive their child's CTF voucher, the different types of account available, and how to get help choosing the most suitable one for your child. There's also information on how family and friends can top up the account.
