The pull-out spray tap comes of age

14th February 2007 Print
The pull-out spray tap comes of age The benefits of the pull out spray kitchen tap are well documented, and latest range from Blanco clearly demonstrates the progress which has been made over recent years in terms of design, functionality and performance.

The range is headed up by the imposing Blancomaster, standing 830mm tall and with a strong semi-professional design appeal. Its sibling, the Blancomaster Baby, has been produced with the same semi-professional designer appeal, but on a smaller scale so as to allow installation under a casement window.

Alongside these stands the more angular Blancoatos, a single lever monobloc mixer tap which has a pull-out flexible hose concealed in the metal hood, combining functionality with clean, minimalist lines.

Incorporating a separate pull out spray head, which can be installed on either side of the main tap, the Blancomenu rinse, Blancotube rinse and Blancomaster-S duo all feature a high reach spout combined with the added flexibility of the pull out spray feature. .
Spray ’twist’ is another option. For example, the Blancotube Twist has the same semi-professional appeal as the Master ‘S’, but its high reach spout has a twist’ action for spray rinse, instead of a pull-out spray.

Supporting this star cast is the Blancobooster pump. Easily installed beneath the sink, the pump is able to produce a constant hot water pressure of around 1 bar, required by many pull out spray taps for optimum performance. The pump can be easily installed under the sink, either at the same time as the tap, or retrofitted at a later date.
