Price assured with Charles Church If you are looking to move into a new house, but have an existing property to sell first, it could be a long – and stressful – process. However, fear not, with Charles Church Scotland’s Price Assured Part Exchange Scheme, moving home doesn’t have to be a chore. In fact, the scheme can even make moving home easy!

The Price Assured Part Exchange Scheme is a simple process which takes the uncertainty out of buying a new home and makes selling an existing property less hassle for the purchaser. Lorraine Clelland, Sales and Marketing Director for Charles Church Scotland, explains how the scheme works. “Charles Church’s Price Assured Part Exchange Scheme is an innovative way of helping purchasers move into their new dream home,” she explains.

“As soon as a reservation is made at a home on one of our developments, we will arrange for an estate agent and independent surveyor to visit that purchaser’s existing home and give it a valuation price. The purchaser then has an agreed time – say for example eight weeks – to try and sell their home on the open market.

If, when the time is up, the home has not sold, Charles Church will step in and buy it from them for the price it was valued at – leaving the purchaser free to proceed with buying their new Charles Church home.”

With this new scheme everyone is a winner – once a reservation has been made the purchaser can rest assured that they WILL be moving into their new home, and there is no uncertainty of failing to sell an existing property.

Price Assured Part Exchange is currently available at De Quincey Court, an exclusive development of four bedroom homes just on the edge of the town of Tranent. The development offers a wide selection of detached family homes, all with double garages, starting from £321,000.

Specification in the homes at De Quincey Court is second to none and each property has been finished to the highest of standards. Kitchens are fitted with integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher, as well as a stainless steel oven, microwave, 5 burner gas hob and chimney style extractor hood, under unit lighting and a stainless steel sink.

Bathrooms and en-suite facilities are equipped with Sottini sanitaryware, chrome fittings and a Trevi CTV thermostatic shower. Elsewhere, purchasers can expect oak veneer doors with chrome ironmongery, chrome downlighters in the lounge, kitchen, bathroom and en-suite facilities and plain finished white ceilings throughout.

Tranent is a rare location which offers a rural backdrop combined with easy city access and a great selection of local amenities including shops, leisure and educational facilities. The city of Edinburgh is just nine miles away and can be easily accessed through a fast and modern road network.
