Edinburgh artists on a high at Quartermile Quartermile’s luxurious triplex penthouse is hosting a new art exhibition showcasing the work of five of Edinburgh’s most promising young artists.

The exhibition at the impressive contemporary apartment be open to the public from Friday 31st July through to Sunday 9th August between 11am and 6pm daily. The gallery features the work of David Cass, Tom Fuggle, Emma Wain, Juan Diaz and Lucyanna McLaughlin and includes fine art, photography and sculpture.

Visitors to the penthouse can also enjoy taking in the unrivalled 360 degree views across the Scottish capital. Generous roof terraces and floor to ceiling windows reveal a panorama from the Pentlands in the south across to the Firth of Forth in the north, taking in iconic land marks including Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill and Arthur’s Seat.

Designed by world-renowned architects Foster + Partners, the triplex apartment showcases the inspirational works of art to the full. Finished to the very highest specification with solid oak flooring, porcelain tiles, surround sound and blind control, the triplex penthouse offers the ultimate city lifestyle.

In the Foster + Partners designed kitchen you will find fine stone worktops, a wine fridge and cappuccino machine, while the en suite bathroom adds a further touch of luxury with a free standing Hoesch bath and built in LCD TV.

The exhibition has been organised in conjunction with Business Art, a specialist consultancy which sources and manages artwork of corporate clients throughout the UK. Director of Business Art, Sarah Dallas, took forward the brief for the Quartermile Gallery:

“The brief was to create a vibrant and contemporary gallery space in the triplex apartment and to make it relevant to the Edinburgh art scene, so we selected work by some of the most exciting artists currently working in the city. We’re confident visitors will be as excited as we are by the combination of this stunning setting and outstanding art.”

The prestigious development is situated in a desirable city centre location bordering The Meadows, and is appealing to a wide range of homebuyers comprising both striking contemporary new build homes as well as sensitive period conversions.

The mixed use development has an exciting year ahead with the second office building Quartermile Two set for completion in November at the same time as the main public square, forming the heart of this vibrant new community.
