Brackla’s big ‘show’ off

18th July 2007 Print
The Ouse Rugby players, a stilt-walker, a sizzling summer BBQ and a magnificent new show home make up a not-to-be-missed weekend in Brackla on 21st and 22nd July.

Visitors to Redrow’s Coed Castell development in Brackla, Bridgend, will have a day full of fun – and be the first to witness the unveiling of a beautiful brand new show home.

Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), says: “The day promises to be lots of fun for all the family. We will have plenty of entertainment to keep youngsters amused, and we are hoping the relaxed atmosphere will provide the perfect environment in which to showcase our newest star.

“Many home-buyers feel it’s a great benefit to have access to a show home as it enables them to envisage the property’s capabilities, and how to see for themselves how the property can be transformed from a ‘house’ into a ‘home’”

The stunning new show home is a beautiful four-bedroom ‘Ouse’ house design. The detached property boasts an en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom, a contemporary open-plan kitchen and diner – perfect for entertaining, and an increasingly popular modern design.

It also enjoys plenty of added storage, incorporating under-stairs storage and a down-stairs cloakroom as well as a utility room and detached garage.

The Ouse also features an additional floor, thanks to a ready made loft conversion that feature two spacious bedrooms. This type of layout is incredibly versatile with these rooms also lending themselves to alternative uses such as a playroom, home study or a games room.

Coed Castell features a range of apartments and houses, currently priced from £136,995 for a two-bedroom apartment up to £218,950 for a four-bedroom detached Ouse similar to the show home. All of the properties are designed and constructed to the highest specification and standards.

The development’s fantastic location – having the perfect balance of accessibility to towns and cities, whilst remaining close by the beautiful Welsh coastline – is a big selling point and Redrow anticipates its popularity will keep rising

The village of Brackla has a choice of pubs and leisure facilities, whilst nearby Bridgend has a host of amenities available to its locals – from doctors and dentists, to family-friendly pubs and stylish wine bars – something that will suit everyone.

The village also has several excellent schools nearby – both English and/or Welsh speaking – and is only three miles from the fantastic McArthur Glen retail shopping outlet, the perfect place to stop off after the morning school-run!

To see the spectacular Ouse show home for yourself, visit Coed Castell, off Coychurch Road, Brackla, between 12 noon and 4pm on 21st and 22nd July. For further information go online at Redrow.co.uk.
