Fantastic fun at Copper Quarter, Swansea

Barratt South Wales is hosting two fantastic events at its stylish Copper Quarter development in Swansea; one to celebrate St David’s Day on Sunday 1st March, and another to raise money for Comic Relief on Saturday 7th March.

Visitors to the stunning riverside scheme on 1st March, from 12 noon to 4pm, will be able to have a go at car rallying, jet skiing and motorbiking thanks to three simulators on site for the day. The person with the highest score of the day will win a fabulous prize: either a racing car driving experience or a Spa day. A team of local estate agents, solicitors, financial and sales advisors will also be there, with all the latest information on the best way to buy a new home at Copper Quarter. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.

If that’s not enough to tickle your fancy, then the Comic Relief event on 7th March surely will. Barratt is organising a fancy-dress charity walk along the riverside next to Copper Quarter; it’s free to enter, simply call the sales office on 01792 472843 to register for a sponsorship form. The walk will commence at 11am. Hot dogs, burgers and drinks will be available; toffee apples - to remind us of those Comic Relief red noses - will be presented to all those who complete the walk. A ‘red nose’ lucky dip will add to the excitement, with prizes for those who pick a gold one.

Fairground rides at the development will keep the children happy and Barratt has promised it will donate £10 to Comic Relief for every family that visits its showhomes at Copper Quarter on this fun-packed day.

Copper Quarter offers one and two-bedroom apartments and two and three-bedroom houses, all with parking. Residents can enjoy attractive landscaped areas within the development, plus lovely river walks. Swansea city centre is only a short drive, or there is a Park and Ride bus station close to Copper Quarter with a regular bus service straight to the city centre.
