Want buy your own home? Challenge Barratt

Want buy your own home? Challenge Barratt With so many schemes around to help prospective buyers get onto and move up the property ladder, it can all become very confusing.

Barratt South Wales is making things clearer, by hosting a ‘Challenge’ Barratt event at its St Joseph’s Meadow development in Llantarnam on Saturday 5th September from 11am to 4pm.Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss the wide variety of incentives available with the sales team to find the ideal scheme that will work for them.

Adrian Bird, sales director at Barratt South Wales, says: “We know that many buyers often think the house buying process can be quite complicated; our expert sales team will be on hand at our event on 5th September to explain all the deals available on a range of homes and to help as many people as possible to make the move to a new home.”

St Joseph’s Meadow, a collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes has a picturesque location, offering all the benefits of a country life with the convenience of the town nearby. There are plenty of schools nearby and Cwmbran train station is around one and a half miles away, with Cardiff Airport approximately 22 miles distance.

There are various ways to buy at St Joseph’s Meadow. To help those with an existing home to sell, Barratt is currently offering to buy their old home through its popular Part Exchange scheme. Barratt buys the purchaser’s existing home, enabling the purchaser to buy a new Barratt home. Mr Bird explains: “This takes away the worry of being in a chain and you can even stay in your old home until your new one is ready. With no estate agency fees to pay, or HIP to prepare, you save money too.

Barratt is also offering mortgage protection for up to three years, thanks to free insurance with a new home. Barratt will pay the first year’s premium to insure buyers against being unable to make their mortgage payments through no fault of their own. Alternatively, buyers may prefer to have help with their deposit by Barratt, which is available on selected homes.

“We believe that the combination of competitive prices and numerous incentive schemes is a winning formula that will help many people make the move to a new home,” Mr Bird said. “We hope to see lots of prospective buyers at our event and look forward to finding the right deal to suit their individual needs.”

Prices are from £139,995 for a two-bedroom coach house. The four and five-bedroom houses start from £240,995. The sales and marketing suite at St Joseph’s Meadow, Llantarnam Road, Llantarnam, Cwmbran, Gwent, NP44 3YL, is open daily, Sunday – Wednesday and Friday 11am to 6pm, Thursday 1pm to 8pm, and Saturday 10am to 5pm.
