Kumho wins further accolades from top magazines

For the second year in succession, Kumho tyres took first place in an independent tyre test organised by the respected Russian publication Za Rulem. They also won considerable acclaim in a similarly comprehensive comparison of major tyre brands run by Germany’s ADAC motorwelt.

The Kumho SOLUS KH17 was declared the outright winner of Za Rulem’s test of 15 major tyre brands. The extensive trial encompassed all key disciplines including: braking, steering response, safety, noise level, fuel consumption and wear resistance on both wet and dry roads.

Said the Za Rulem test team, “Kumho’s SOLUS KH17 is strongly recommended and boasts excellent performance in all weather conditions as well as remarkable fuel efficiency. Kumho’s second consecutive victory in our annual test proves last year’s result was well deserved.”

ADAC motorwelt

This most authoritative of publications put examples of no less than 17 leading tyre brands through their paces, including: Kumho, Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear and Continental.

The Kumho SOLUS KH17 qualified well in all disciplines and was judged to be ‘especially recommendable’, while the Kumho ECSTA KH31 also scored very well against its peers.

With a print run of some 14 million copies per month, ADAC motorwelt is said to be read by no less than 18.5 million enthusiasts throughout Europe and is therefore judged to be extremely influential.
