7th May 2009 Print
Dublin – Europe’s friendliest city Dublin has been named the friendliest city in Europe for the second year running, in a survey of travellers’ perceptions of European cities by TripAdvisor, the world’s most popular and largest travel community.

“Dublin is well worth a visit – the locals were so warm and friendly and made me so welcome,” wrote one TripAdvisor reviewer.

Luke Fredberg, TripAdvisor spokesman, says, “Europe’s capital cities all have their highs and lows, but no other continent offers travellers’ such a wealth of culture and sights within such short distances.
