Walking and cycling holidays in France for 2010 - at 2009 prices

Tour operator Belle France has announced a special offer for ‘early birds’ - book any independent walking or cycling break before 30 November and enjoy 2010 holidays at 2009 prices.

Itineraries on offer in the new year include ‘Van Gogh’s Provence’, a seven-night holiday walking along lanes and tow paths beside fields of redcurrants, apples, walnuts and vines in an area that the painter knew well.

The going is easy with daily distances of six to 13 miles – allowing plenty of time to linger and enjoy lazy lunches – staying in carefully chosen hotels of character, most with pools, in Graveson, Remoulins, Beaucaire, Fontvieille and St Remy.

The break is available from April until October, excluding the ‘hot’ months of July and August, and costs from £779 per person (twin share) in April, May and June inclusive of mainly half-board hotels, luggage transfers between hotels, plus detailed maps and notes.

UK travel is not included, but return channel crossings or rail tickets can be booked on request.
