Lecce is a small city situated to the south east of Italy, in the peninsula called Salento, and is called the Florence of Puglia because of the quantity of important monuments such as the Holy Cross Church situated in the centre of the old town and the Roman Amphitheatre, built in the 2nd century AD and the column under the statue of Saint Oronzo (Lecce's patron) which was donated to Lecce by the city of Brindisi and which marks the end of the Appian Way, the main road connecting Rome to southern Italy.

Set in the back streets of Lecce, the exterior of Suite 68 does not give away the chic charm that you find as the door opens into a stylish covered courtyard. Small, hugely stylish and extremely welcoming, its hard to find anything that betters this for comfort and price.

Suite68 offers just eight rooms that are dotted around – some on ground level and others that are reached by a stone staircase on the first and second floors. Regardless of where rooms are located, there is a great roof terrace with fantastic views across the city – a wonderful place to feel the late afternoon sun, enjoy some local wine or just sit and gaze into space!

All the rooms are decorated differently with a contemporary theme – the age old building has not been redesigned in any way so the rooms are all extremely spacious with high, and in some cases, vaulted ceilings and wonderful bathrooms. All rooms have air-conditioning / heating and satellite television.
