Fabulous family living in Ruislip

28th January 2010 Print

House-hunters seeking a fabulous family-size home in one of West London’s most sought-after residential areas need look no further than the flexible new ‘Wardour’ townhouses at Taylor Wimpey’s Sandringham development in Ruislip.

With prices ranging from just £399,995 to £409,995, the three/four-bedroom ‘Wardour’ designs are ideal for family living, with a choice of layouts that offer the opportunity to select a home with a beautiful kitchen/dining room at its heart – or a spacious living/dining room with separate kitchen.

The ‘Wardour A’, for example, has a living/dining room with French doors to the rear garden and a light and airy separate kitchen to the front, plus a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to an en-suite bedroom, plus a further bedroom with attractive balcony and a main bathroom, while the master bedroom with en-suite and another double bedroom sit comfortably on the top floor.

Meanwhile, the ‘Wardour B’ offers the lucky buyer a family-friendly kitchen/dining room – ideal for relaxed mealtimes or entertaining friends – plus a fourth bedroom/study and guest cloakroom completing the ground floor.

The living room, a bedroom with balcony and a main bathroom occupy the first floor, while two en-suite double bedrooms can be found on the top floor.

As an alternative, the top floor of the three-bedroom ‘Wardour C’ features an amazing master suite with dressing area, and a large bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle.

The final design, the ‘Wardour D’ shares a similar layout to the ‘Wardour A’, but as an end-of-terrace home offers dual-aspect windows to selected rooms.

Tim Betts, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The ‘Wardour’ homes offer excellent flexibility for executives, couples or families seeking a choice of spacious homes to suit their needs.

“But with only one of each design available – and all very competitively priced for this leafy area of Greater London – we’re urging potential purchasers to get in touch today to choose their favourite ‘Wardour’ now and avoid disappointment.”

House-hunters can also choose stylish two-bedroom coach houses starting at just £264,995, and from a range of three-bedroom and three/four-bedroom properties with different layouts again.

All new homes at the development benefit from a high standard specification including a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood, plus at least one allocated off-street parking space, while selected plots have a garage and a parking space.

To help those with a property to sell to make a hassle-free move to their new home, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of tailor-made incentives, including part-exchange on selected new houses, or assistance with finding a purchaser for their current property – often in as little as a fortnight.

Sandringham lies within 19 acres of landscaped grounds between Ruislip and Eastcote High Street, with a new community hall and public open spaces included in the development design.

The superb array of local shopping facilities include a Marks & Spencer and a Waitrose, while a wider choice of outlets can be found nearby at The Chimes Shopping Centre in Uxbridge.

Pubs, restaurants and bars are also within walking distance of the development, the well-equipped High Grove Gym is just around the corner, and the tranquil parkland of Ruislip Common, Park Wood and Ruislip Lido are also within easy reach.

Commuters choosing to enjoy Sandringham’s laid-back lifestyle are well catered for, with the M40 and M25 a 15-minute drive away and direct local bus services to Pinner, Northwood and Ruislip.

The development is also equidistant from East Ruislip, Eastcote and Ruislip Manor stations on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, and, only a little further on foot or by road, South Ruislip and West Ruislip stations on the Central Line.
