Running a 24/7 online vehicle parts retail operation has become much easier, thanks to the arrival of a new, free-of-charge iPhone application for Tiger Commerce, the simple-to-use ecommerce website software.  The new app, mCommerce, enables dealers to access and respond to valuable real-time data relating to their online parts and accessories shops – all through their iPhone.

Tiger Commerce is the first UK ecommerce platform to launch an iPhone app to complement its browser-based online shop software.  mCommerce facilitates order tracking and on-the-move updates, allowing dealers to stay in touch with new orders and new customer registrations, as well as historical shop data – without needing to access a laptop or computer.  Tiger Commerce clients can also use mCommerce to log into their shop’s Google Analytics account for up to date analysis on shop visitor data.

Neil Smith, eCommerce Director at GForces – the company behind Tiger Commerce – said: “Conducting business over the internet is a 24/7 proposition, so it’s vital that e-tailing motor traders are always able to respond to new orders coming into the business, whether they happen to be in their office or not.  mCommerce is designed to allow people to do just that.  They will now have better access to their customers and to what’s going on with their online shops.”

Tiger Commerce is a ready-to-use, feature-rich ecommerce platform.  With no contract and monthly payments of just £17.99 (plus VAT) or an annual package of £180 (plus VAT), the software offers a low financial risk option for dealers looking to sell parts and accessories online.  No software installation or download is required and automatic upgrades are included free of charge.

The new, free-to-download mCommerce app is available now at the Apple Store (store.apple.com/uk).
