The Bay Villas are set within the 300 acre estate of Sheen Falls Lodge where the surroundings seem to border on the mythological. Waterfalls cascade through the woodlands, deer roam free and seals peer playfully from the water’s edge.
The three thatched, four-bedroom villas are situated in their own private grounds and accessed through a private gated entrance each has stunning views over Kenmare Bay and is just a short stroll from the Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel.
Each villa offers four roomy double bedrooms and spacious marble bathrooms. The roaring log fires add to the rural idyll and literary enthusiasts can leaf through the well-stacked mezzanine library overlooking the dining area. Guests seeking to be tended hand and foot will find the daily service reassuringly understated but attentive and almost any whim can be catered for, such as a dinner party arranged by the skilled team of hotel chefs and eager waiting staff.
Also available for self catering is the two-bedroom Marianne’s Cottage which boasts the most stunning views onto Kenmare Bay. Both bedrooms feature open beam ceilings and en-suite marble bathrooms and have patio doors leading out onto private balconies. Marianne’s Cottage offers an idyllic secluded sanctuary to enjoy with a loved one or close friends.
The Bay Villas and Marianne’s Cottage complement three additional cottages available on the estate: ‘Little Hay Cottage’, ‘Garden Cottage’ and ‘The Green’.
Guests of the Villas and Cottages are invited to enjoy the full facilities of the Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel including the award winning ‘La Cascade’ restaurant, Oscar’s Bistro, Cocktail Bar, Sun Lounge and Library.
