Bupa International introduces 'Gold Superior' company plan

Bupa International is significantly enhancing its company international health insurance cover, for businesses with globally mobile employees.  It now features four levels of cover - Essential, Classic, Gold and the new Gold Superior, and a new range of dental benefit options.

The Gold Superior plan has been developed following feedback from intermediaries and company customers.  Enhanced benefits include:

One of the most extensive levels of cover available

A higher annual maximum benefit of GBP£5 million (US$10m/EUR€7.5m)

Full refund for family doctor visits, out-patient drugs and dressings

Wellness benefit of GBP£1,000 (US$2,000/EUR€1,500) including a full health screening - the best in the market by GBP£350 (US$700/EUR€460)

Up to 60 outpatient therapist visits a year - higher than the industry average

One of the most generous routine maternity benefits available - increased to GBP£8,000 (US$16,000/EUR€12,000) and up to GBP£14,000 (USD$28,000/EUR€21,000) for medically necessary caesarean sections

Increased dental cover of GBP£2,000 (US$4,000/EUR€3,000) and additional optical cover.

Plan administrators can choose from additional options including USA cover and assistance cover. They can also select different levels of cover for each individual employee, depending on the company's requirements.
