Celebrate Cool Summer Nights at Aquaventure
Cool Summer Nights at Aquaventure will take place each Thursday in July and the first Thursday in August, welcoming guests to a Brazilian style, carnival-themed evening in the resort’s water park. Guests can enjoy a range of entertainment, from Samba dancers to magicians, and fire-eaters to jugglers, whilst little ones can get involved with face painting and colourful mask making. Guests can sit atop the Ziggurat, the centerpiece of Aquaventure, to enjoy the best views of the Dubai skyline before plunging 30 feet into the darkness. The evenings close with an impressive firework and laser display just before midnight.
Atlantis Dive Centre opens, new for 2010
Brand new for 2010, Atlantis has launched an in-resort Dive Centre to provide guests with the facilities to enjoy a new underwater world. The National Geographic accredited, PADI Atlantis Dive Centre offers a number of exciting programmes to suit all ages and levels. All courses can be structured to fit around holiday plans, allowing guests the opportunity to learn how to dive in one of the resort’s private and pristine salt water pools, ensuring they become accustomed to the sensation of diving before the open water dives.

To celebrate the world’s biggest football tournament this summer, Atlantis, The Palm’s laidback beachfront venue, Nasimi Beach, will be transformed into the Pure Football Lounge - complete with large screen TVs broadcasting all the FIFA World Cup games live. A special menu will be on offer during the FIFA World Cup celebrations and will include nachos, chicken wings, spring rolls, calamari, salads and the World Cup Platter. Nasimi Beach will be open daily from 4pm - 2am with daily happy hour from 4pm-6pm and a happy hour after each FIFA World Cup match.
