Beat the heat in Dubai

Whether it’s racing down the slopes of Ski Dubai, seeking adrenaline-fuelled thrills at iFly Dubai or discovering something new in Cite’ des Enfants, there is tones of fun to be had this summer, courtesy of Majid Al Futtaim Leisure’s (MAF Leisure),  ‘Beat the Heat’ special promotions and summer camps.

MAF Leisure’s special summer promotion will now enable all visitors to Playnation, Aquaplay, Magic Planet, and Ski Dubai to receive Scratch and Win coupons that guarantee instant wins, discounts and special promotions for all attractions. Playnation will also be hosting a variety of entertainment activities on weekends with music, animation and live acts. The summer promotion will run from July 1 until August 10, 2010.

Catering to adrenaline junkies and young flyers alike, the indoor skydiving experience at iFLY Dubai can be enjoyed at special ‘3 for the price of 2’ rate, on weekdays before 3pm.

Simultaneously, specialized summer camps will also be conducted to engage children of all ages and help them brush up on their soccer skills, ski like a pro or engage in mid air stunts at iFLY! Soccer Circus Dubai

Forget the vuvuzela’s - starting every Sunday from June 20th until August 5th head down to  Soccer Circus Dubai at Playnation, the perfect destination for aspiring footballers. Five years and above can now enjoy Word Cup fever and hone their fancy footwork between 9:30am and 5pm, five days a week with interactive games, five-a-side pitches and skilled instructors to show all the best passing, tackling and scoring tactics!

Cite’ des Enfants

For the younger participants, why not ‘edutain’ your child in Cite’ des Enfants, an education-centric playground for children aged 4-7 designed by French experts, Parisian Cite’ des Sciences et de l’industrie (CSI). Children can participate in everything from scientific experiments indoors and learn while they play with blocks, arts and crafts in organized group workshop sessions, followed by time in the stimulating exhibition area.

Starting every Sunday - June 13th – Sept 2nd
2 hours per day consisting of a 45 min workshop + 75 min in the exhibition area.
Consecutive days starting every Sunday with 2 sessions per day: 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm.

Full Day Summer Camp Sessions:
Starting every Sunday from 10am - June 20th - August 5th
Full day package consists of a 45 min workshop + full day access to the exhibition area for 1 adult and 1 child.

SKI DUBAI

This summer, sand meets snow in a never-before-seen concept that brings all the fun of the summer to you with that much needed refreshing chill. Starting every Sunday from 20th June until August 5th, children from 3 to 13 can enjoy all the joys of winter and learn to ski five days a week. Children aged 8 and above can also learn snowboarding and test their newly acquired skills in a final race, at the end of the camp

Ski Dubai will also be hosting daily entertainment with lots of fun alpine themed puppet shows, animators, competitions and regular give aways from 2pm – 9pm every day.
