Stereophonics guitarist, Richard Jones, joined the GSX-R 25th anniversary celebrations in the best way possible earlier this month, by picking up his brand-new GSX-R1000.

Already a big Suzuki fan, Jones picked up the GSX-R1000 just in time to join in on this year's 25th celebrations of the iconic sports bike range, heading out on track shortly afterwards to put it through its paces at Silverstone circuit.

Commenting on his new ride, Jones said, "I've had several Suzuki's over the past few years, but this GSX-R is something else. The Hayabusa I had before was impressive but in a completely different way. You just have to think where you want to go on the GSX-R and it does it for you, it's just effortless. It's reignited my desire to get back out on track again, so I'll be joining the Suzuki guys on the GSX-R anniversary days before the year's out."

With the next GSX-R anniversary track day taking place at Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk on 19th July, where a star-studded line-up of current superbike racers will be in attendance, including Leon Haslam, Sylvain Guintoli, Tommy Hill, Yukio Kagayama, Michael Laverty and Alastair Seeley, fans should log-on to the dedicated website - imgsx-r.com for more information.
