Holidaymakers recently got a taste of things to come when escorted tour operator Page & Moy launched a preview edition of its new Wildlife & Culture 2011 brochure, due to launch in September 2010.

Setting the tone, the preview brochure features inspiring wildlife holidays and cultural experiences to destinations including Sri Lanka, Namibia, Mexico, Borneo and New Zealand, many led by local experts with a passion and in-depth understanding of the regions. The brochure also features photography by award-winning photographer, Andy Rouse, who also helped create the range of exciting holidays on offer.

Trusted experts when it comes to holidays of discovery, holidaymakers on Page & Moy’s new tours will see the world in a new light, from holidays that take in the butterfly migration in Mexico and the sea turtles and bear monkeys of Sri Lanka to the huskies and northern lights of Norway and the meerkats and mountains of South Africa. There are also tours that take in whale watching off the coast of Gibraltar, tiger spotting in Ranthambore National Park, India and the AfriCat Foundation in Namibia, which works to protect cheetahs, leopard and other wild cats.

Ranging from five to 16 days, all tours offer visitors the chance to get in touch with the natural world and animal kingdom, while also enjoying the luxury of staying in a fantastic hotel. Those looking to stay a little longer can also add a little luxury to their stay with five-star hotel add-ons.

While on these outstanding holidays, guests will be not only be guided by an experienced Page & Moy tour manager but also a local guide, who will provide an in-depth insight into the culture and nature of the area. Holidaymakers on the Baja California tour will experience the brilliant knowledge held by local guide, Professor Fermin Reygadas Dahl, who has over 30 years experience and is acknowledged as an authority on Baja California. Similarly, those on the South Africa tour will be able to enjoy the delights of meerkats via resident guide Devey Who, with over 20 years’ guiding experience he has a great understanding of these comical creatures.
