Three-times British Superbike Champion and fans favourite, John Reynolds, has today been confirmed as the guest rider of Loris Capirossi's Suzuki GSV-R MotoGP machine, in a special parade session at the Brands Hatch BSB festival on the 7th and 8th August, where Suzuki will celebrate the GSX-R ranges 25th anniversary.

Reynolds, who most notably clinched the BSB title in 2004 on his Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000, became the first BSB champion to win on a 1000cc in-line four cylinder machine, before retiring at the end of 2005.

Still heavily involved in racing, working as Suzuki GB race director, Reynolds commented, "The GSX-R range is naturally very special to me. I clinched my last championship on one, but it's also the bike I have the fondest memories of. I'm absolutely delighted to be given the honour of riding the GSV-R800 at Brands Hatch for the celebrations and can't wait to put the old leathers back on and lap in front of the crowds again."

Reynolds' lap will be the culmination of an action-packed Suzuki weekend, that will see Alstare Suzuki World SBK riders Leon Haslam and Sylvain Guintoli demo their GSX-R1000 race machines, along with current Rizla Suzuki MotoGP star Alvaro Bautista on his GSV-R800. Fans attending on Saturday will get a special opportunity to meet with the riders, including all regular BSB stars, with Suzuki owners invited for refreshments in the Suzuki GB hospitality unit between 2PM and 5PM.
