Advice for first time buyers in Wolverhampton

13th September 2010 Print

Experts will be on hand at Morris’ Claremont development on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September to offer advice to first time buyers.

An independent financial advisor will be available to speak to people at the development, off Wellington Road, between 10.30am and 5.30pm on both days to guide first timers through the process of buying a new home, offer advice on different mortgage types and advise them on the best deals available.

First time buyers and key workers will also be able to find out how they can take advantage of incentives like the Government’s HomeBuy Direct scheme which allows homebuyers to purchase selected properties at the development from as little as 70 per cent of the market price without needing a large deposit.

Julie Smith, regional sales director for Morris, said: “Buying a brand new home direct from a housebuilder is a lot simpler than buying a second hand property.

“However, for many buyers, it can be difficult knowing where to start. Our weekend event at the Claremont development will give buyers the chance to talk through their options and find out more about how Morris can help homebuyers have a quick and hassle-free move.”

Morris currently has a range of one and two bedroom apartments available at the Claremont development starting from just £74,725* and two, three and four bedroom houses from £101,325*.

The housebuilder also provide a range of tailor made ‘furniture packages’ at the development which include carpets, curtains and furniture so buyers can start enjoying their new home as soon as they move in.

For more information about the development, visit the sales office (open Thursday to Monday between 10.30am and 5.30pm) at Claremont, Wellington Road, Bilston, WV14 6DA.

* Price quoted is 70% of the marketed price on selected homes under the HomeBuy Direct scheme. Subject to terms and conditions. Price is correct at time of going to press.
