Ducati UK and its dealers recorded an outstanding result in August 2010 with 154 UK registrations up over 80% versus August 2009.

This result means that in a tough market at the end of August the brand was ahead of last year, with a forecast for further market gains in September.  Tim Maccabee, MD for Ducati UK, said “One of the most satisfying things about this result is that while the new Multistrada was clearly a major factor in August the rest of the range continued to contribute to the overall result.”

Ducati boasts probably one of the freshest ranges in the entire industry with the introduction this year of the Hypermotard Evo, 848 Evo, Hypermotard 796, Monster 796 plus ABS versions across the Monster range.  We’ve also strengthened the dealer coverage in 2010 with new additions to the network – SMC in Sheffield and West London Superbikes in Middlesex.  Frank Hayes, Dealer Principal of SMC, said “We were excited at the prospect of having Ducati but I truly didn’t expect it to be as successful so quickly.  And it’s not just the all new Multistrada that is hitting our headlines, success is across the board in all models and we have found new local friends finding their way into our store.”

There is more good news to come at Eicma 2010 in Milan and Motorcyle Live at the NEC with the announcement and display of the new 2011 Ducati range.
