Youngest dealers in town

Daihatsu’s plan to beat the credit crunch continues to move forward with the appointment of Teesside Daihatsu, Middlesbrough.

The family-owned dealer first opened its doors more than 25 years ago and, together with its 15 experienced staff, has established excellent relationships with its customers. It will offer a full range of new and used Daihatsu products at its newly refurbished showroom in South Bank Road.

Dealer Principal, Jonathan Hudson, said: “Following the death of my father, my brother Richard and I took over the business and continued to honour his principle of customer satisfaction. We believe our combined ages of 50 make us the youngest dealers around and hope this will help us generate new converts to add to our loyal customer base.”

Paul Hegarty, Operations Director, Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors Limited, said: “Teesside Daihatsu is a welcome addition to our network. True to Daihatsu dealer tradition the two brothers are totally committed to serving their local community’s motoring needs. This, combined with our award winning range of compact vehicles, will ensure their success in Middlesbrough.”

The Coleshill-based Japanese compact car specialist aims to have appointed 20 new dealers in 2008 and currently boasts 105 UK showrooms.

The five-year warranty introduced earlier this year, together with the £35 road tax, 70 mpg and low emissions means Daihatsu has a car to suit everyone in these challenging times.
