New Flybe flights from Manchester take to the skies

8th December 2010 Print

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline and the UK’s Number One Domestic carrier, has started operating two new routes from Manchester this week with the maiden flights to Aberdeen and Nantes.

The new routes form part of the airline’s extensive schedule from Manchester which this winter offers passengers a choice of up to 580 flights a week on 18 key routes and forward bookings for the Aberdeen service have proved particularly strong.

The new Aberdeen service includes three return flights daily to Aberdeen during the working week, with fares from £29.99 one way including taxes and charges and are clearly appealing to the business sector by enabling people to take advantage of a full business day with a convenient and time-efficient ‘day return’ schedule: with Flybe’s new service to Nantes offering four return flights a week to Britanny’s most important commercial hub with fares from £39.99 (€45) one way including taxes and charges.

Mike Rutter, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, comments: “As a business, we are always keen to respond to our customers’ needs and we have been pleased with the initial support for these two new routes, especially for our Aberdeen service where forward bookings are especially strong. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board these inaugural flights next week.”
