Santa arrives in Dubai

Welcomed by crowds of excited children and their families, Santa and Mrs Claus arrived this week in great fanfare at Mall of the Emirates, their ‘home away from home’ to celebrate the onset of the festive season.

Parading through the mall, which has been decked out in holiday cheer, Santa and Mrs Claus were en-route to Ski Dubai, where they will be staying till the 24th of December.

Sharing the spirit of the seasons with residents of the UAE, families are welcome to come by and spend time with Santa, take pictures and enjoy the spirit of Christmas with their loved ones. Santa will be at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates Sezzam restaurant daily from 12-2 p.m., Aspen coffee shop from 3-5 p.m. and Ski Dubai’s Winter Wonderland from 5-10 p.m. Visitors can also take a wander around the stunning 13-meter Christmas tree which has been vibrantly adorned with Christmas baubles, tinsel and frosted lights and will be on display at the Mall of the Emirates Galleria from December 13th, providing a magnificent hub for the seasonal celebrations.
