Thoresby Hall Hotel launches 'World Spa'
Guests at Warner Leisure Hotels' Grade I listed Thoresby Hall Hotel can now indulge themselves with spa treatments from all around the world.
The new 'World Spa' experience boasts an exclusive treatment menu with therapies from The Americas, Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania as well as Europe, inviting guests to sample a world-wide Spa experience whilst enjoying all the comforts of English country house style.
Thoresby Hall has an enviable reputation for its Spa which includes an Aromatherapy Cave, a Turkish Hamman Steamroom, Swedish Sanarium, one of the UK's few Ice Caves and a Hydrotherapy Pool. Guests booking a two hour Spa Experience session during their stay at the hotel can enjoy all of these along with Experience Showers, Foot Spas, a blissful Relaxation Lounge and, (for an additional cost) they can book a Rhassoul session - an ancient Egyptian mud-bathing treatment that leaves the skin feeling beautiful soft and refreshed. They also have free access to the Leisure Club with a swimming pool, fitness room and additional sauna and steam room.
The new World Spa will complement the existing facilities with exotic treatments designed to relax, pamper and promote a sense of well-being, providing a perfect escape as part of weekend or mid-week break.
A menu of Spa treatments has been carefully compiled working with renowned experts ESPA who have devised a number of luxury rituals available exclusively to guests at Thoresby Hall.
Try the Oriental Heaven and Earth which combines a calming scalp massage with a foot and lower leg treatment or the Chakradhara that uses Egyptian aromatherapy oils and hot stones - Cleopatra would have loved it! There's a full Swedish body massage on offer or enjoy a Rebalancing Facial with Tea Tree - the natural wonder oil from Australasia
Breaks at Thoresby Hall offer much more than the chance to relax in the Spa with many activities on offer that capture the essence of English country living.
Archery, rifle-shooting, country walks through acres of glorious parkland and an extensive range of 'Experience' options will introduce guests to almost anything from 'Learn to Dance (you name it - any style!) ' to 'Fly a Microlight'. And in between you can try Nordic Walking, Bridge, Learn to Paint, Discover Cocktails or Flower Arranging - to name but a few!
Thoresby Hall also provides a unique entertainment programme for guests with resident actors - known as the Thoresby Players - who perform Historical Vignettes based on the story of Thoresby Hall, take guests on a spooky Ghost Walk and also play-out a Murder Mystery in the Great Hall!
