Extra-long weekends in the New Forest

One of the cosy lodges at Little Paddock

Little Paddock, a collection of individually, Scandinavian-style wooden lodges, hidden away in a leafy corner of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, is offering ‘four nights for the price of three’ during the month of March, reducing the price to just £97.50 per person (based on two people sharing a lodge) – or less than £25 per person per night.

The lodges are designed for just two people, and the complex is ‘adults-only’ making it the perfect place for a quiet, romantic break.

There are also three delightful B&B rooms available in the owners’ main house, each of which can be accessed privately through their own French doors.

The lodges are owned and managed by husband and wife team Brett and Sue Jones both of whom did what so many people would like to do; they turned their back on the rat race and their conventional jobs to create their little hidden gem in the New Forest. The complex also has a residents’ alcohol licence and Sue and Brett can provide romantic meals through a local farm shop on request at a supplement.

Little Paddock has 2 hot tubs and a tennis court, and such is the location of the complex within the national park that it is possible to enjoy Avon Forest walks direct from the back gate, leaving the car behind.

The lodges are ideally located with the New Forest villages just a short drive away with Ringwood, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Southampton, Salisbury and Portsmouth all within easy reach
