The Atabei Spa at Curaçao’s newest and most luxurious resort, Hyatt Regency Curaçao Golf Resort, Spa and Marina, was honoured by being listed on Condé Nast Traveler’s Spa Hot List for 2011.

Combining indigenous ingredients unique to Curaçao, the new Atabei Spa welcomes guests to experience an authentic holistic retreat. The spa draws inspiration from the ancient culture and rituals of the Arawak people, the original inhabitants of the island, and looks to utilise native plants, sea salts, muds and herbs honouring the majestic landscape of Curaçao. Surrounded by the beautiful Caribbean waters, Atabei Spa features 4,500 square feet of indoor/outdoor space.

With Curaçao being named as a hot destination for 2011 by Smarter Travel and AOL Travel, Hyatt Regency Curaçao Golf Resort, Spa and Marina is proud to immerse guests in Curaçao’s traditions and heritage, showcasing the island’s charisma. The resort’s other amenities include three outdoor pools with ocean views, palm lined sundeck, StayFit@Hyatt fitness centre, jogging trail, tennis and volleyball courts, and more than 38,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and banquet space. There are three globally inspired dining options, including MEDI, specialising in Mediterranean cuisine with an exhibition kitchen; SWIM, a poolside restaurant offering Pan Latino-influenced dishes; and SHOR, a speciality seafood restaurant.
