The first of 11 luxury homes in Ringinglow sold just hours after the Lord Mayor of Sheffield officially opened the doors.

Sheffield’s first citizen, Councillor Alan Law JP, cut the ribbon and ushered guests into Redrow’s new ‘Highgrove’ show home at Ringinglow Gardens during an event attended by local estate agents, solicitors and other property professionals.

With official ceremonies over, it paved the way for one eager customer to purchase their preferred property on the day of the launch.

First to look around the show home, Councillor Law said that Redrow’s new homes had given the site of the former fire station a new lease of life – so much so that it had taken him a while to get his bearings when he first arrived.

“I remember coming here when I was on the planning committee to view various applications and it’s great to see how the area has changed,” Councillor Law commented.

Tastefully dressed by a team of professional interior designers, the five-bedroom ‘Highgrove’ demonstrates how Redrow has combined traditional exteriors with modern interiors to meet the demands of 21st century family living.

“I think the show home is absolutely brilliant and looking around is much better than seeing plans, drawings and computer generated images,” Councillor Law added. “The traditional design fits in well with the area, yet it’s still modern inside. It’s been well thought through with some beautiful rooms – I love the dining room and the study.”

One of the show homes’ five bedrooms has been styled as a music room and Redrow invited cellist Lucy Revis, a post graduate performer from the University of Sheffield who has performed for the Queen, to entertain guests at the launch.

Redrow regional director John Grime said: “The launch of Ringinglow Gardens is significant as it marks Redrow’s return to Sheffield after a few years’ absence and it’s the first development to solely offer premium properties from our New Heritage Collection. The homes represent the very best in quality and design and we are delighted to be building them here in South Yorkshire.

“It’s testament to the high standard of craftsmanship and our commitment to customer service that we have already taken our first reservation. Other potential purchasers have shown a keen interest in the homes and I’m confident that Ringinglow Gardens will become one of the most sought after addresses in Sheffield.”

Set among rolling fields, yet just a short journey from Sheffield city centre, Ringinglow Gardens enjoys a location that’s second to none.

The development features top of the range four and five-bedroom detached homes. Current availability includes a choice of five-bedroom designs with prices from £649,999.

A five-bedroom ‘Highgrove’, similar to the show home, with a combined kitchen, breakfast area and family room, separate dining room plus a spacious lounge, is on the market for £879,999. Four of the bedrooms enjoy the benefit of an en-suite and there’s also a dedicated study.

Discerning homebuyers can experience what life would be like at Ringinglow Gardens with a visit to the ‘Highgrove’ show home in Ringinglow Road, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
