Housing Excellence Awards win for ‘Infusion’

Miller Homes, in partnership with Manchester City Council and GB Building Solutions, has won ‘Best Affordable Housing Scheme’ at the recent Housing Excellence Awards. The house builder picked up the award for its ‘Infusion’ development in Moss Side.

The Housing Excellence Awards were presented at a ceremony at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Ground, Old Trafford on 11 May. Now in its eighth year, the Housing Excellence Awards highlights and rewards those who are leading the way in the social housing sector.

Since it launched ‘Infusion’ earlier this year, Miller Homes has been inundated with interest from homebuyers. Sixty per cent of the development – 42 properties – sold in just eight weeks. Demand for these beautifully renovated and converted 2, 3 and 4 bedroom award winning homes is still exceptionally strong and Miller Homes is urging potential buyers to take a look fast, to avoid missing out.

‘Infusion’ is the first part of a £17m regeneration scheme, which sees 64 Victorian homes being carefully renovated and converted. The homes boast a stylish SieMatic kitchen, Italian tiling in the bathrooms, solid oak internal doors and energy-efficient eco features, such as solar panels, sun pipes and thermal insulation.

Besides getting a stylish, up to the minute new home, ‘Infusion’ buyers also benefit from living just a short hop from Manchester city centre, which offers a massive choice of leisure and retail facilities. The Infusion development is also backed by an equity loan scheme from Manchester City Council, which means that buyers could pay 70% of the price and own 100% of the property.

People can find out more, and take a look around the show homes, by visiting the ‘Infusion’ marketing suite located on Beresford Street, Moss Side, M14 4RY. It is open everyday, 10.30am to 5.30 pm.
