Miller Homes ‘Unity Quarter’ in Salford combines a great location, beautiful homes and value for money. Its pull took Geoffrey Goodman by surprise.

“The fact is we went looking for a property for my son. We thought we would find him a nice apartment. But then we saw something perfect for us and had a change of mind.”

Geoffrey is not an easy man to impress with property. He and his wife own a number of properties in the area and are experienced in property deals and ownership.

So what was it about Unity Quarter that persuaded this savvy property couple to buy their home there? “Unity Quarter offers good value for money” says Geoffrey. Pricing is an important feature at Unity Quarter and one Mr Goodman spotted quickly.

Also important was the 10-year guarantee that Unity Quarter property offers and the attractive design of the whole development. In October last year Mr Goodman started his purchase and by early January he and his wife moved in. Owning so many properties nearby, they already know the area well. “Everything is as we expected it to be” says Geoffrey.

Prices at Unity Quarter still offer great value for money, with prices starting at just £59,950 for a 1-bed apartment with parking, £174,950 for a 3-bed Milne detached with en-suite and garage; and £257,950 for a 4-bed Croft family home with en-suite and garage.

The last plots with HomeBuy Direct are now available. Buyers that qualify for this Government backed equity loan scheme could own 100% of a new home but pay from only 70 per cent of the price. The balance of the price is provided in the form of an equity loan from the Government and Miller Homes jointly. This equity loan is interest free for the first five years and repayable over 25 years or when the property is sold. HomeBuy scheme has helped thousands of house hunters get on to the property ladder now, and can avoid the need for a large deposit.

Other incentives include MiSwap and Deposit Match. MiSwap is a unique home exchange scheme that allows a home owner to trade their old property – whether trading down, trading at the same value or trading up. For people that have saved up to 5 per cent towards a home purchase, Deposit Match offers to double their deposit. This can have the effect of reducing the mortgage borrowing thereby reducing the monthly mortgage repayments.

Full details of all the offers and the new properties released for sale are available from The Unity Quarter marketing suite and show homes located off Oaklands Road, Kersal, Salford M7 3GP. It is open Thursday to Monday, from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
