Learn the art of flower arranging at Menzies Welcombe Hotel

The Menzies Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club is to host a Flower School on Friday 14 October from 2pm – 5pm. Leading events florist Rose Hamson will run a masterclass to show participants how to give their flower arrangements a fresh and contemporary look.

Participants will learn the versatile techniques required in order to create a beautiful large hand tied bouquet using the best of the season’s flowers, plus have an insight into the world of floristry, simple design techniques, hints and tips for making a good arrangement and how to get the most out of their flowers.

Suzanne Draper, Sales Manager of The Menzies Welcombe Hotel, stated “We’re delighted to be running a Flower School in conjunction with Rose who is a leading expert in floristry. The class is designed to give participants a real hands on experience into the art of flower arranging and will be a thoroughly enjoyable and beneficial class.”

The cost of the class is £60 per person which includes all flowers and materials, Q&A session plus a delicious cream tea. Booking is essential. Due to the nature of the course there are only 6 places available.
