Is your child a petrol-head? Save £200 on Motorsports holiday

18th August 2011 Print

Go-karts, quad bikes and motorbikes!  Plenty to get speed freaks excited about on PGL’s specialist Motorsports holiday starting 27 August in Shropshire.

The seven night break – now £339 per child, a saving of £200 on original price – is for 10-13 and 13-16 year olds.

On six half-days during the week, instructors teach kids to stop and start safely, master clutch control and balance on off-road courses within the adventure centre’s 240 private acres.  For safety’s sake, time trials rather than races are the order of the day.  Engine sizes range from 50cc to 80cc.

There’s also the opportunity to design a motorsports course, with obstacles, ramps, limbo bars and see-saws.  All specialist equipment is provided, including helmets, protective pads, goggles and overalls.

The other half-days offer a chance to enjoy Boreatton Park’s other activities, from canoeing and climbing to archery and abseiling.

Accommodation is in dormitories, with three healthy meals a day and plenty of rehydration breaks.  The fun continues until bed-time with evening entertainments and chill-out time.

To take advantage of the special price, PGL insurance – geared to the activities tackled during the holiday – must be taken, at £36 per child.  Travel to Shropshire is not included.
