A new sales adviser at Persimmon Homes’ Buckshaw Village development near Chorley is urging house-hunters to take a look at the superb three bedroom properties available before the development comes to a close.

22 year old Carly Fairbrother joined Persimmon at the start of the summer, having previously worked as a sales negotiator at a local estate agents. She’s now enjoying helping purchasers to select their ideal home at the busy development

She says: “Buckshaw Village has been a five year development but it’s now nearing the end. It’s been a very popular site in a much sought after location so it’s no wonder there are only nine properties left.

“The remaining homes are all lovely three bedroom designs in four different house-styles, and are perfect for families.”

Plus, all the properties are available through the Government’s new FirstBuy scheme, making them even more affordable.

FirstBuy is a shared equity scheme which helps first time buyers onto the property ladder. Eligible applicants are offered an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the purchase price and can then gain a mortgage for the remaining amount.

Through FirstBuy, prices for The Hatfield, a good sized detached property, start from just £135,196. On the ground floor is a front facing lounge, a kitchen / dining room, useful utility room and a cloakroom. A master bedroom with en suite, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom, can be found on the first floor.

Alternatively, there is a choice of semi-detached properties available. The Rufford, which has an integral garage, sees a lounge, kitchen / dining room and cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs are three bedrooms, including the master with en suite, and a family bathroom.

Prices for The Rufford start at £172,995 or £138,396 through First Buy.

There is also the final Collins house-type available at £123,996 through FirstBuy or two Farthings which offer a well designed interior layout including a dual aspect lounge and a study on the ground floor. The Farthings are priced from £139,996 through FirstBuy.

Buckshaw Village enjoys an excellent location just ten minutes from Chorley with its vast array of shops, restaurants, schools and other day-to-day amenities. At Buckshaw Village there is a new train station, chemist, supermarket and shops all within walking distance.

The development is surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of footpaths and cycle lanes to explore.

Commuting couldn’t be easier with the M6 and M65 just five minutes away, giving easy access to Manchester, Blackburn, Bolton and Preston.
