Vito winner drives forward with charity donations

Glenn Gane, Managing Director of GG Logistics, based in Birmingham, has won a brand new Mercedes-Benz Vito 110CDI van, after entering the recent Mercedes-Benz Made For The People competition.

“There are a number of charities and worthwhile causes close to my heart, so I have decided to sell the Vito and use the proceeds to give to various charities,” he explained.
 
From the sale of the Vito, Glenn has vowed to give £5,000 to the family of former colleague Mark Bate, who was killed in a road traffic accident last year, leaving behind a wife and two children. Glenn commented: “The money given to the Bate family will be used to take the children to Disneyworld so I am delighted to be able to help fulfil their wish after such tragedy.
 
“I am also hoping to donate money to various other causes, including the British Heart Foundation, Cure Leukaemia and Diabetes UK.”
