Discover Australia & New Zealand with Premier Holidays

UK independent tour operator Premier Holidays is launching its latest Australia and New Zealand brochure on 18 November 2011.

Building on the existing Australia and New Zealand offering, launched in 2009, the new brochure will feature even more added value options. These fantastic new additions to the brochure include room upgrades and free nights and breakfasts.

Australia, recently awarded Best Country to Visit Worldwide at the British Travel Awards 2011, has proven to be a popular destination for Premier Holidays. “Since we launched the product in 2009, there has been significant interest. Due to strong demand, we have expanded our offering to Australia and New Zealand and this new brochure will provide even more holiday options,” says Premier Holidays’ Managing Director, Susan Papworth.

With the trend for adventure tourism experiencing strong growth, highlights of the brochure include outdoor pursuits such as hiking, sailing and biking to name a few. Focusing on tailor-made packages, the new brochure also features fly-drives, self-drives and plenty of recommended excursions. “Darwin is definitely a growing destination and as well as all that the city has to offer, the surrounding areas are also a must-see. On the doorstep there are several national parks such as Kakadu, Litchfield and Katherine Gorge which have all proved popular,” says Premier Holidays’ Australia and New Zealand Product Manager, Clare Smith.

“Our most popular trips are the Sydney Bridge Climb, the Barrier Reef Cruise from Cairns or Port Douglas, as well as hiking in the Valley of the Winds and Kings Canyon - both incredible Red Centre highlights which are often overlooked by those in a rush to see Uluru,” says Clare Smith.

As well as launching the new brochure Premier Holidays is also celebrating its 75th birthday this winter. To kick-start the festivities, the tour operator is offering agents the chance to win 75 fantastic prizes, simply by making a booking before 20 December 2011.

“We have some amazing prizes up for grabs, including a five-night luxury break to Oman, staying at the five-star Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, a luxury six-night holiday to the Seychelles and short breaks to New York, Jersey and Guernsey,” says Papworth.

In addition, for every booking worth more than £7,500 during the celebration period, agents will be entered into the prize draw twice. All long-haul bookings over the value of £7,500 will earn at least £75 of shopping vouchers. With weekly spot prizes on offer, the more bookings an agent makes, the higher their chances are they will be picked from the draw.
