With no fewer than five properties available for viewing those who visit Harbour Village in Fleetwood this weekend will be able to experience all that a brand new Redrow home has to offer.

The open house event takes place on Saturday and Sunday (January 28/29) when homebuyers will be able to step inside three more properties in addition to the fully furnished show homes at the popular development. They will be able to look around and get a real feel of what the finished properties could be like as lived in homes.

Julie Harper, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “Buying a home is a big decision and being able to view a property is an important part of the home buying process. We already have two show homes open for viewing to enable homebuyers to appreciate the quality and finish we offer as our standard specification. By opening the doors to three other examples of our house designs they can experience the different layouts and see which best suits their lifestyle.”

Current availability at Harbour Village includes a choice of three and four-bedroom homes from the sought-after New Heritage Collection priced from £154,995.

Eligible purchasers could find they’re able to snap up a home at Harbour Village for an initial outlay of just £116,197 with HomeBuy Direct.

Designed to help those who would otherwise be priced out of the property market, HomeBuy Direct offers eligible customers the chance to take out an equity loan for up to 30% of the purchase price of a brand new home.

But those who want to take advantage of the valuable help should act fast, as it’s only available until March. This also coincides with the stamp duty threshold for first time buyers reverting to £125,000 from April 2012 so adding to the cost of setting up home.

But it’s not just first time buyers who can find their dream home at Harbour Village. Help is also available for those looking to move up the property ladder. Buyers with an existing home to sell could find they’re able to use it to part-fund a move up the property ladder with part-exchange.

“Designed and built with pride, our new homes are streets ahead of most other properties in the area, making them much sought-after. Unlike some older, second hand properties our new homes won’t need lots of work before you can move in,” Julie explained.

“They’re ideal if you want a quick move as you won’t have to worry about repairs, renovations, decorating or installing kitchen appliances, as a brand new microwave, oven and fridge freezer are integrated into the stylish kitchens. There’s plenty of storage space for pots and pans thanks to tall cabinets and extra wide drawers; while family bathrooms and en-suites boast quality fixtures and fittings plus an exclusive tile range.”

Close to the marina and with potential for some stunning views, the homes at Harbour Village enjoy a tranquil coastal setting but with easy access to local amenities enabling residents to choose their pace of life.

Bounded by the Wyre Estuary, which is noted for its population of wintering birds, and the Fleetwood Marsh Nature Reserve, it’s a hidden oasis. Yet despite the serenity of the area, there are good local amenities including a supermarket, dozens of shops at Freeport Fleetwood and a choice of schools.
