Leap Year break in the New Forest

Little Paddock on the edge of the New Forest National Park is offering special 2-night Leap Year Proposal breaks for those who are fed up waiting for their partner to pop the question (2 nights from £120 pp).

Accommodation is in one of Little Paddock’s eight, cosy, Scandinavian-style wooden lodges and the complex is adult-only so peace & quiet is guaranteed for the moment when the big question is uttered…

Little Paddock’s lodges are individually furnished and are all designed to be occupied by just two people. Although fully-equipped for self-catering, the complex’s owners will also deliver meals or breakfast hampers at a supplement for those who would rather let someone else do the preparation (all the produce used is sourced locally).

Shared facilities at the complex include two hot tubs, a tennis court, a swimming pool (though February is not the best month for outdoor swimming!) and a terrace bar.

The New Forest’s lovely villages and towns including Brockenhurst, Lymington and Lyndhurst – there is even a village called ‘Love’ – with their wide choice of pubs and restaurants are all easily reached.

And such is the location of Little Paddock that it is also possible to enjoy Avon Forest walks direct from the back gate, leaving the car behind.

The two-night break (28-29 Feb or 29 Feb-1 March) costs from £120 pp which includes a home-prepared and delivered meal by the owners and a bottle of champagne.
