Panasonic Lumix TZ25 digital camera
Panasonic has launched the LUMIX TZ25, boasting a 24mm ultra wide angle 16x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens that fits in a slim, pocket-sized profile. With the TZ25’s Intelligent Zoom function, the zoom increases its power to the equivalent of 32x with minimum deterioration of image quality thanks to its Intelligent Resolution Technology.
Together with 24mm ultra wide-angle of view, the TZ25 covers even wider shooting situations with its outstanding versatility and high mobility. For more effective countermeasure against hand-shake, which tends to occur in shooting with high zoom, POWER O.I.S.(Optical Image Stabiliser) with Active Mode is equipped to powerfully suppress blur in both photo and video recording.
The combination of the 12.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor and the Venus Engine empowers the camera with high performance image recording capability in both quality and speed. The lens, the sensor and the engine all play a significant part in improvement of image quality especially those shot in low light situations. It also contributes to the high speed burst shooting at 10 fps and approx. 0.1 sec of Light Speed AF to catch the most fleeting shooting opportunities.
Now the DMC-TZ25 can record high-resolution full-HD 1920 x 1080 50i videos in AVCHD (MPEG-4 / H.264) format, the new camera also supports 25p in MP4 format which has high compatibility with PCs or smartphones for editing or sharing the captured videos. Panasonic’s popular Intelligent Auto (iA) assists easy video recording without needing a special technique.
In addition to the manual operation, a variety of special effects have been added to the TZ25 offering further fun to every shooting experience. These new features include, Creative Control mode including Miniature Effect, Panorama Shot, Creative Retouch and Auto Retouch.
Also, using the camera’s intuitive iA mode effortless yet beautiful images can easily be achieved. Controlling the new High Dynamic Range (HDR) function together with POWER O.I.S. with Active Mode, AF Tracking, Intelligent ISO Control, Face Recognition, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Handheld Nightshot, Motion Deblur mode, Intelligent Burst mode and Intelligent Exposure! Once you select the iA mode, these multi-capable functions happen automatically, so that you can shoot without the bother of remembering and adjusting settings every time conditions change.
The 3.0-inch large 460,000-dot Intelligent LCD assures high visibility in almost any lighting situation and the TZ25 newly features USB power charging as well as the additional conventional AC power supply for further user convenience.
