Hyosung Bike News

Superman and Grease were at the cinema, but Annie Hall got the Oscar for Best Picture. The first test tube baby was born in Britain; Space Invaders was developed in Japan; and Wonder Woman was on the telly. The Eagles’ Hotel California was a huge hit and Argentina won the footy world cup. Two popes died. And seven inches were no longer enough.

New 650 and 450cc bikes, a new 125cc scooter and technical upgrades including fuel injection mean riders are set to take Hyosung just a little more seriously when the South Korean manufacturer debuts its new bikes at this year’s NEC International Motorcycle Show.

Hyosung, which recorded its best ever monthly sales in September, has slashed the price of its naked GT125 street bike by £250. The on-the-road price drops from £2,549 to £2,299 – a reduction of almost 10 per cent.

Hyosung recorded its best ever sales month in September with 152 bikes being registered. That’s over 135 per cent up on the same month last year and takes the South Korean make to a total of 781 bikes sold to the end of September

Hyosung GT650 motorcycles are even better value this summer with free insurance. Buy any new Hyosung GT650 model and ride away with free third party, fire and theft cover, or benefit from the reassurance of fully comprehensive cover up to £199.

Hyosung Motors and Machinery Inc., manufacturer of fast-growing Hyosung motorcycles, has been acquired by S&T Corporation of South Korea. While the Hyosung brand will continue, the manufacturing company producing Hyosung motorcycles has been renamed S&T Motors Co. Ltd.

Hyosung, the fast-expanding range of motorcycles from South Korea, now includes two ‘luxury’ scooter models with a choice of 125cc and 250cc engines. The new Hyosung MS3-125 is £2,149 and the MS3-250 is £2,649 on the road, and reach dealerships this month.

Insurance is one of the biggest headaches for any road user, but buy a new Hyosung RX or RT125 this summer and you could be on the road with free third party cover or the reassurance of third party, fire and theft from only £99.
