Corvette Racing continued its all-conquering reign in the American Le Mans Race Series (ALMS) at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with the team’s fifth consecutive 1-2 class victory last Sunday (May 21). Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta extended the team’s winning streak with their fifth straight win in the GT1 class. Meanwhile, team mates Ron Fellows and Johnny O'Connell achieved their fifth consecutive second place.

The nationwide Cadillac BLS Launch Tour, which visited 84 motorway service areas over a two week period, has raised £10,000 for the children’s medical research charity, SPARKS.

A specially equipped 2006 Corvette Z06 will serve as the official pace car of the 48th the Daytona 500 race on February 19 in Florida. ‘Tonight Show’ host and car enthusiast Jay Leno will drive the pace car. The Corvette Z06 Daytona 500 pace car is mechanically identical to the production version, which will debut in Europe at the end of this month.

Cadillac & Corvette Europe has announced its biggest-ever marketing campaign to promote the launch of the all-new Cadillac BLS. The multi-phase campaign will culminate with the new premium mid-size Cadillac appearing in showrooms across Europe from spring 2006. In addition to various above-the-line activities, the campaign involves a dedicated Cadillac BLS website and an intensive online banner campaign.

The Cadillac global product offensive is gathering momentum as the General Motors premium brand will debut the production Cadillac BLS at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt. This new premium mid-size saloon adds another important element to Cadillac’s growing international presence following the launch of the CTS in 2003, the XLR and the SRX in 2004, the STS in 2005, and the recently announced addition of the STS-V and XLR-V.

Cadillac will host the European debut of the STS-V and XLR-V next month at the Frankfurt Auto Show (IAA) in Germany.
