In very changeable conditions this weekend at the Nurburgring, Boris Maletić, the Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB’s leading Coppa Shell driver, demonstrated the significant progress he has made in his first year of international motor racing, with his best qualifying positions and two consistent best place finishes of the season. Qualifying 13th for Race 1, Boris made steady progress during the first half of the race and managed to work his way up to an excellent 8th place before the compulsory 1 minute pit-stop.

This weekend, 1-3 September, sees the Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB arrive at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany with the momentum of Ross Kaiser’s first win in the Trofeo Pirelli at Paul Ricard which gives him a realistic chance of securing second place in the championship with only four races remaining, and a competitive three-car line-up in the Coppa Shell which continues to push towards the front of the grid with improved qualifying and finishing positions.

The fourth car in the Ferrari Dealer Team GB of Christian Passuti and Lorenzo Casè (car 29) was competing in the Italian championship.
