As half term approaches and the weather get colder Kia has some fabulous family offers to brighten up those gloomy autumn days.


The UK’s 150 Kia dealers are throwing their weight behind Tyre Safety Month which started this week. The Korean car manufacturer’s dealers are offering motorists the opportunity of having a free tyre safety and pressure check when they visit their premises during the month of October.


100,000 - Jan Taliga, Senior Manager Assembly Shop, with Mr In-Kyu Bae, President and CEO Europe’s most efficient and advanced vehicle production facility has seen its 100,000th Kia cee’d roll off the production line. Built in record time, only 28 months, the factory in Zilina, Slovakia, has carried on setting the benchmark for vehicle production.


Helping to reduce both pollution and congestion during the school run and encourage exercise amongst youngsters, Kia dealers across the country are joining up with local schools to sponsor ‘Walking Bus’ schemes.


Kia c eed Safety Car The Euro NCAP five-star rated cee’d has proven it’s a safe car in more ways than one – it has been employed as an official Safety Car at a number of motor racing circuits around the UK.


Kia Motors has been appointed ‘Official Supplier’ to the Slovakian Ministry of the Interior and awarded the contract to supply locally-manufactured Kia vehicles to the country’s police forces until 2010.


Kia Motors Corporation (KMC) has launched its official global blog, Kia BUZZ (kia-buzz.com), to bring it closer to its customers, industry opinion leaders and car enthusiasts through online dialogue with a wide range of Kia experts from across the organization.


Dramatically improved Kia build quality and reliability is resulting in less need for the KIAssist programme supplied with every new vehicle, and as a result the programme has been adjusted to one year from date of purchase.


Kia launches e-Learning Programme Kia Motors is marking the launch of the new cee’d SW with the introduction of an innovative new dealer training programme focussed on time effectiveness while still maintaining outstanding training standards.


Kia’s European-designed and built cee’d family car has been awarded a 5-Star safety rating in the latest Euro NCAP crash test results.
