Lamborghini will attend Goodwood Festival of Speed for the first time this year as an official partner.

Lamborghini has celebrated the issuing by the Italian Post Office (Poste Italiane) of a postage stamp dedicated to the Lamborghini Miura. The €0,85 stamp features a reproduction of the distinctive Sant’ Agata Bolognese mark: the raging bull on a black background.

Thanks to increased power (an additional 10 hp) and a 100 kg reduction in weight, the new range-leading Gallardo Superleggera is even more dynamic than the already very sporty Gallardo. The weight/power ratio of the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is only 2.5 kg/hp, putting it in the top lightweights of its class.

Lamborghini has announced its official sales figures and another annual sales record for 2006, at the Detroit Motor Show.

Italian super sports car manufacturer Lamborghini will double its UK representation with the opening of two new dealerships in Birmingham and Edinburgh. Both operated by Sytner Group Ltd., Lamborghini Birmingham and Lamborghini Edinburgh will join existing dealerships in London and Manchester managed by H.R. Owen plc. A further service centre is based in High Wycombe.
