The series saw the Maserati MC12 fielded by the Vitaphone Racing Team scoop the Team and Drivers' titles before the end of the season courtesy of Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini. The race in Dubai for the Trident cars ended with Jamie Davies-Thomas Biagi-Vincent Vosse taking third and the Michael Bartels-Andrea Bertolini-Eric van de Poele crew in eleventh. In first came Deletraz Piccini (Aston Martin DBR9) followed by the Corvette C6R driven by Longin-Kumpen-Hezemans (Corvette C6R).


The start of the FIA GT race in Adria Maserati scored an amazing one-two at Adria on Sunday 15 October in the ninth and penultimate round of the International FIA GT championship. The Trident company secured first and second place, as the Maserati MC12s driven by Jamie Davies-Thomas Biagi and Andrea Bertolini-Michael Bartels beat off the challenge of Longin-Kumpen-Hezemans' Corvette.


Moz Fabris wins the 2006 edition of the Trofeo Audemars Piguet Maserati Europe The seventh and last round of the 2006 Trofeo Audemars Piguet Maserati Europe series took place yesterday at the Spanish circuit of Valencia. By coming second, Maserati GB’s Moz Fabris won the Championship title.
