Mazda3 1.6 Takara Mazda's medium sized family car, the Mazda3, now represents even better value for money with a number of significant specification enhancements that build on the qualities that have made the Mazda3 one of the best selling Mazda models in Europe.


Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that it will receive the ‘Outstanding Technical Paper Award 2008’ at the prestigious 58th Annual Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (SAEJ) awards ceremony to be held in May.


Mazda Motor Corporation today reported its financial results for fiscal year (FY) 2007 and announced its projections for FY2008.

Mazda Motor Europe celebrates setting two historic sales records for the brand in March. Brisk sales during the last quarter of its two newest models – the recently-crowned World Car of the Year Mazda2, and the new Mazda6 – pushed retails sales during the last 12 months (April07 through March08) to a record 327,000 units.


From an initial entry list of thirty-nine (39) new vehicles from all over the world, the 2008 WCOTY title was announced on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the New York International Auto Show. The Mazda2 edged out the Ford Mondeo and Mercedes-Benz C-Class to take the overall award.


At a press conference at the New York International Auto Show, the Mazda2 was declared the 2008 World Car of the Year.


Mazda sales across Europe leapt by 32 percent during February to total 27,300 units – a rise of 6,600 units over 2007 – to record the highest February result in 17 years.


Mazda2 The new Mazda2 three-door hatchback will make its world premiere on Tuesday 4 March at the 78th Salon International de l’Auto de Genève.
