Peugeot’s Specialist Vehicles Operation (PSVO) is celebrating a fantastic start from its new purpose built facility in Coventry, with over £500,000 in orders following the recent National Police Fleet Managers Show at Cheltenham Racecourse and a new ‘special conversion’ with the 308 SW.

On Friday 3 October in the dying seconds of qualifying for the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta, Stéphane Sarrazin snatched pole position and set a new outright lap record of 1m 6.242s in the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP.

This year’s Paris Motor Show will see Peugeot reveal the latest in its long line of coupé cabriolet cars. Peugeot pioneered the concept of “folding roof cars” way back in the 1930s with its elegant 401, 601 and 402 “Eclipse” models, and today continues this with the 207 CC and now the new member to the family, the 308 CC.

Derived from the fusion of different worlds, the “Prologue…” concept car lifts a corner of the veil on a new type of vehicle.
